The lamps shade is a compressed rhombus shape that is split into two forms; one larger than the other, which cast an interesting direct light upwards but also indirectly downwards, over the base of the shape. When viewed straight-on, appears to have a commanding presence, yet is narrow enough that it can occupy a position on thin surfaces like windowsills or dressoirs.For the design,Pholcdeveloped a custom rippled steel which is sheer on the inside of the shade but catches light in a really interesting way on the outside. Its seamlessly welded to enhance the shape and powder coated so it bounces light softly.

One of the elements the designers were keen to resolve is that the light carries a decorative presence when its not in use. The colours used for the shade change softly during different times of the day, and the lamp has Broberg & Ridderstrles signature balance between form and artistic expression.Romb is available in two sizes, each of which that versatile larger than life character. The shade is in Cotton and Cumin, with dimmable light source.
