Astro Patina was handcrafted in Nepal primarily of silk with wool accents. The weave used to produce this rug is our premium Shakti weave, which has an extremely smooth, soft finish and a pile height of about 0.28 inches. Designed by Kevin Walz, the linear patterns move throughout this carpet to create a design reminiscent of modern architecture. Astro Patina is a shimmering brass color silk with wool accents in taupe, brown, burnt orange, deep plum and gunmetal blue. Please keep in mind that the silk colors will vary greatly with different lighting source and intensity because of the high shimmer of the silk. This rug would work well in lower traffic areas such as a formal living room, bedroom or home theater.
