A large share of Finn Juhl’s designs were commissioned assignmentsoften as part of his business as a renowned interior designer. The Ross Side Table is no different and was the result of a commission in 1948 by a well-known Danish law professor named Alf Ross.

The table was particularly unconventional at the time it was designed, however today the design is extremely modern with its delicate steel frame, kidney-shaped top, steel inlay with a built-in vasealso available without the stainless steel vase.
