The Kartell Masters Chair is a distinctive and modern piece of furniture designed by the renowned designer Philippe Starck in collaboration with Eugeni Quitllet. Produced by the Italian design company Kartell, this chair has become an iconic item in contemporary furniture design since its introduction in 2009.

The Masters Chair stands out for its sculptural form, which is both striking and functional. Its backrest is formed by a unique combination of interwoven, flowing lines that merge three classic chair silhouettes into one: the Series 7 by Arne Jacobsen, the Eames Plastic Chair by Charles and Ray Eames, and the Tulip Armchair by Eero Saarinen. This blending of styles gives the chair a sense of historical continuity while also creating something entirely fresh and futuristic.

Made from durable, lightweight molded plastic, the Masters Chair is available in a variety of colors, including classic black, white, and bolder hues. The material allows it to be suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, making it versatile for different spaces. With a slim but sturdy structure, it is stackable and easy to clean, combining elegance with practicality.

The Masters chair is a clear tribute to three symbol-chairs, reworked and reinterpreted by Starcks creative genius. The unmistakable silhouettes of Arne Jacobsens Serie 7, Eero Saarinens Tulip Armchair and Charles Eames Eiffel Chair entwine in a sinuous hybrid, creating a fusion of original and attractive styles. Light and practical, Masters can also be used outdoors. Also available in metallic finishes which convey and extra special effect.
